3D objects

By using digital photogrammetry and sharp images produced by focus stacking, we have created detailed, high-level 3D models, which serve both the needs of research and education. All 3D models and the related metadata are made available on a CC license (the license depends on the museum collection the object belongs to).

Sketchfab

Lower resolution 3D models are available for use and download via the Sketchfab-account of the Finnish Heritage Agency.

IDA Data Storage

High resolution 3D models and related metadata are available for download and use through the Finnish research data storage service IDA.

Chosen 3D models are prepared for 3D printing and can also be downloaded, together with detailled 3D printing instructions (in Finnish), at IDA.
