Baytuna is an interactive, mobile exhibition celebrating Southwest Asian and North African (SWANA) literature and art, in which audiences of all ages and backgrounds can gather to read, play, listen, touch, watch, and feel the present and the distant past in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

Our aim? To build bridges between the past and the present but also – and mainly – between people from different horizons living in Finland today.

Opening in Helsinki in August, Baytuna visits the National Museum of Finland (02-07.08), Malmitalo (24.08-03.09), PUBLICS (14-17.09), the Multicultural Center Gloria/The Civic Activity Center Matara (27.09 -14.10) and the Museum of Central Finland (18-30.10).
